Modern Foods’ latest range includes new & improved superior products of healthy and nutritious bread. These are - 100% Whole Wheat Bread, Hi-Fibre Brown Bread, Whole Wheat with Oats and Flax Seeds.

Modern is an iconic brand that pioneered the concept of bread in India. Established in 1965 by the Government of India, as Modern bakeries (India) Limited, Modern was the first branded bread in India. It was the first company to be privatized by the Government of India in 2000, through a divestment to Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (HUL). On September 7th, 2015, Everstone Capital signed a definitive agreement with Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) to acquire the brand and business under the “Modern” brand.
