A youth convention programme from rotary 3190

A youth convention programme has been organized entitled”Abhinava” at the Samskrithi Brindavana Samavesha Kendra, J.P.Nagar, on 17th September under the auspices of Rotary District 3190. In this connection, a press conference had been organized at Press Club, Bangalore. Addressing the Press Conference, B.V. Raveen, President of the Abhinava outlined the various details of the programme. Various programmes have been organized from 9.30AM till evening, on 17/09/2017. The Nobel Laurette, Sri Kailash Satyarthi will be gracing this function as Chief Guest. He will inaugurate the programme and deliver the address outlining the vision of the programme. He will also delineate and elaborate the main action words of Abhinava-Aspire, Act-Achive and explain how they are relevant to children and all of us in society. Dr.R Balasubramaniam, Author, will also grace the occasion.
Rotarian Bhagyashree and Rotarian Pavana are embarking on a 20,000 kilometer long “Bharath Yatra”on Bicycle. They will undertake the task of publicizing “End Polio” through this cyclothon. During this cycle yatra, they will contact more than 400 schools. Sri Kailash Sathyarthi will flag off this unique cycle yatra, which offers us the great opportunity to take a self-evident vow of social reconstruction and join hands nationally in this noble task.
A special interactive session about “The Challenge before Youth “ has also been organized. This will be conducted in a very innovative, fascinating and effective manner by Rotarian Shashank, Several youth who have rendered outstanding service to society will be honoured with the award entitled “Yuva Sadhaka” The famous hero of the Kannada Silver Screen, Golden Star Ganesh will present the awards. Later a laughter festival, Musical Programme and other cultural programmes will follow. A unique aspect of this function would be the presence and performance of Star Artist Vishwapraasad Ganagi.
Special programme: A unique “Aspiration Wall” has been specially constructed to enable all the youth participants to express their aspirations through words. Every participant will be given a certificate.
